    Hi Ed,

    Hi Ben,

I know very little about PPC and Adwords, but I have heard about the famous “Google Slap”. I thought that if you use redirect pages for your affiliate programs, you would be hit with the “Google Slap” and would have to pay much more per click. perhaps I am wrong and did not understand what the Google Slap really was. At any rate, I had thought that you have to have your own original web page or web site if you wish to use Adwords. Amir himself states in one of the videos above that some of his ad groups were deactivated. So how can we depend on this method by using redirect pages?
I would really like a further explanation of this if possible.
    Thank you !

    Robert

    Hi Ben,

I don’t see any links to the Adwords/Clickbank Case Study.

    Hi Robert,
You are correct in what you say. I will ask Amir to come in and answer it for you. In my experience, when using a frame redirect as outlined in the videos, Google does not always seem to notice/care.

    Hi Jack,
On this page you should be seeing three videos. Perhaps try refreshing the page or trying a different browser. As they are youtube videos, you will have to be connected to the internet in order to stream them.

  6. Robert Says:

    Hi Ben,

can you use a cloaked page, for example one created with Affiliate Link Cloaker software?
    Thank you,

    Robert

  7. Therese Says:

I’m a bit confused… is it okay to have an opt in page (Aweber form) on your landing page or not? He mentions in the second video that his campaign was deactivated because the landing page had an Aweber “sign up here and get this” kind of form. What was he referring to? THANKS … this is great information!

ALSO, how can we get a hold of his free report (manually tracking methods) and the keywords for this campaign?

    Therese

  8. Chri Says:

    Hi Ben,

It is a nice set of videos, and I was aware of the product, but my question is related to how much money you could lose by approaching keywords and ppc this way. Because the temptation would be to add more keywords (in a cover all the bases method) but then you are going to have to spend 1, time checking and 2, time removing.

There are other methods in Keyword research that would eliminate that time (but of course if you do before you add the keywords you save money). I just wonder if this method makes the marketer lazy and therefore the profit margin drops.

Thanks for posting the videos and product info though.

    Chris

Hey guys. Hopefully I can answer a few of your questions.

Robert: Google slap is a bit tricky. It depends on so many factors. Basically if you write a good ad that matches the keywords and your ad gets good click through rates, you should be fine for the ‘most part’. Sometimes a domain may get slapped in which case you’d have to use another domain. There are a lot more details…but this is a one sentence answer :)

That campaign that you’re seeing is still live, today. Hasn’t been slapped in over a year.

And yes, you can use a cloaked link.

Therese: Yes, you’re right. If you have an optin form, and google catches it, they’ll deactivate your adgroup.

Chris: There are different methodologies of approaching PPC. But irrespective of the philosophy that you subscribe to, keyword tracking will help you out many folds. Yes, this approach of picking everything and then dumping the losers may make you lazy w/ keyword research, especially if you don’t mind dumping a lot of cash, but then Xtreme Conversions will allow you to sift through and find the best converting keywords.

As for the free report, you can get it by signing up for the optin list on my web page: http://www.xconversions.com

    Thanks,
    Amir
