[Ben Rant] - I am Annoyed

I very rarely send out rant emails as I try to provide great content and reviews. However after sending out my email yesterday, I have literally stalled any other activity in order to write this email as I am seething.

As you will see below, I recommended Project X. This was before many others jumped on board as this was a product which I had read early on, and had had time to test and evaluate. In fact, I believe in this product so much, that I gave the following guarantee:

“If you follow the instructions within the ebook and do not cover the cost of your purchase within 24 hours, then I will personally Paypal to you the cost of the book in addition to your refund.”

What does this mean?

Basically, it means that not only is any of the risk taken away from you, but I am even compensating you for the time which you have ‘wasted’ checking out a product. Many people saw the value in what I was saying and realized that that is a guarantee which has probably never been offered before EVER on the internet. Why has it never been offered before? Perhaps because there has never been a product before that is so fool-proof that it is like having Frank Sinatra out on a date with you.

Did you invest in Product X?

If not, then I would strongly advise you to go and buy it now.

Anyway, why am I annoyed?

Because within 3 hours of emailing you last night, I received 7 emails from subscribers asking for me to uphold my end of the guarantee as they had tried some of the techniques and they had not worked. I did compensate them as well as them receiving their refund. However it did make me really really angry. Not because of the money, but for the following reason:

I really try and help people out as much as possible. If you have emailed me in the past, then you will know that I always give you a personal reply and try and help out with any internet or Adsense problems that I can. The reason that I was offering the above guarantee was because I genuinely wanted as many people to go and buy this product. This product as opposed to any other because from my personal testing it worked for me with very little effort. The guarantee was supposed to be a kick in the butt for people to try and put something into action and spend just 24 hours doing so in order to see the returns. Those 5 people are not people that I want on my list because it is obvious to me that they had not tried anything contained within the product. I would be surprised if they had even read it! Cos, if they had read it and tried it, then they would have emailed me like the people above instead just looking to take advantage of my guarantee.

As yet, I have not had anyone take advantage of my guarantee in a genuine way which makes me confident that there are a lot of people who have read the book and taken action and therefore made money from it. For this reason, I am not offering my guarantee for anyone who buys from now on, but am still offering it to those who have already bought.

Chris is putting the price up within 24 hours although refuses to say exactly when. From what I understand it is increasing by $20.

He is totally known for over-delivering and has made it very clear that he has not finished yet and intends to continue offering bonuses for those whom have purchased.

In response, I want to tell you about another product which was also launched yesterday but made much less of a splash due to the Stomper Launch.

Hope he doesn’t mind, but I actually ’stole’ an example which he gives and tried it out in a test. In 7 hours I made over $100. I then took that example down as I was only really doing it for testing purposes to see if what he wrote rang true. (BTW, the example was for SEO Elite)

One thing that he doesn’t cover though is the Google Slap and how to get people to opt into your squeeze pages if coming from Adwords.

This is not for the faint-hearted or for the beginner marketer. Some of the techniques which he describes are pretty advanced and you will need a basic understanding of the above in order to follow along. If you are not able to use HTML or use an HTML editor, then this is not for you.

If you are looking to make money as an affiliate, then it would be a massive mistake, especially at this cost for you not to make this investment.
