Rinse and Repeat…
A while ago, Undercover Profits was launched as a way to find out
which Adwords campaigns were profitable. I personally joined and
was able to profit from it. A couple of days later, an announcement
was made that a clone was being produced with no monthly fee that
would be available at a fraction of the membership fee. It is still
under development, but initial reports are very positive.
It wasn’t long ago that everybody was promoting the Rich Jerk’s
X-Ray Domination product for nearly $1,000. I didn’t because I
hadn’t seen the product. I am not sure if you followed the
promotions, but the main focus of the prelaunch was on an ‘amazing’
(not my words) piece of software which would tell you which
keywords were used on Adwords in order to make your affiliate sale.
Even before the product was launched, a clone was released. Some
have said that the clone was even better than the original!

This seems to be the nature of the market.
Pepsi copies Coke. Coke copies Pepsi. Pixar copies Disney. Disney
copies Warner Bros.
Coincidentally, the same guy who wrote the software for the Rich
Jerk also created another piece of software a few months before. He
is a very talented developer with also a great marketing mind.
He realized that just about everybody has Word documents lying
around on their hard-drive. Whether these are documents which they
have created or perhaps reports which they now have the copyright to.
Does this sound like you?
Anyways. He created a piece of software which would take these
documents and in about 30 seconds create a website out of them
which can just be uploaded and will start earning revenue from
Adsense.
What could be easier?
- Run the software
- Upload the site
- Earn Adsense revenue
- Rinse and repeat
However, in my opinion he also made a mistake. He priced it too
high and at $97 was miles out of reach of many of his potential
customers
I have not made the same mistake…
