Across the internet marketing world, sales are down and affiliates
have been discovering it’s harder to make sales. This is becoming
an industry-wide problem.
Most of the chat rooms and discussion boards I’ve visited in the
past few months have focused on this issue and I’ve heard dozens,

Some people blame it on the American economy while others blame it
on the saturation of the market. I disagree with them all.

Reviews.
For example, I have a fishing site which reviews no less than 145
different fishing rods. Apart from attracting visitors because of
the content, I am able to convert these visitors to customers. I am
able to do this because they see my site as an authority on fishing
rods. However, I personally know next-to-nothing about fishing (and
nor do I like eating them either)
Reviews are extremely powerful. If you are not using them on your
site to make a sale, then you are missing out big time. Using
reviews has more than TRIPLED my visitor value.
But I had a problem. Reviews are extremely time-consuming to write.
Not only do you need to have experience of the product but you need
to know its weak and strong points as well as be able to conclude
the ’sale’ in a tidy manner.
